Management 2000 Benefits

Customer Loyalty

Management 2000's Customer Loyalty module offers the medium sized retailer an opportunity to use technology to deliver small shop service to the existing customers, and to use these customers to attract new ones.

Management 2000’s Customer Loyalty system may be utilised at any level of complexity - as a Customer focused database which stores all relevant customer details and records preferences and responses to promotional activity - through to a fully detailed record by item of all of a customer's purchases over a period of years.

Retailers depend on Customers. To many businesses the customer is an unknown motivated by the offer and the dynamics of market share. Profitability depends on luck, good buying, the weather, effective advertising, good shop location, etc. Using the Management 2000 Loyalty System, it is possible to talk to your customer and to significantly increase their business and the profitability of that business. Management 2000 follows the facts of the retail environment:

    • It is easier to sell to prospective customers in the following order:
      1. Existing customers (even relatively unsatisfied ones)
      2. New customers referred to you by existing customers
      3. Customers in the market for your product
      4. Cold Calls
    • In the Retail environment, direct mail marketing is a highly effective means of creating new business.
    • Telesales is becoming one of the most cost effective means of selling available.
    • The "entertainment" aspect of shopping is becoming more important, especially in the Mall environment.

Management 2000 capitalises on these trends, giving you huge potential to create new customers and maintain them. It is specifically suited to the needs of retailers and will help to improve profitability by offering improved access to customers based upon accurate facts. It will focus efforts and rewards on the Customers who actually shop in the store, not on the people who are willing to fill in the form and simply take advantage of any specials on a selective basis.

A wide variety of information can be recorded against each customer. This includes:

  • A comprehensive history of purchases by style, colour and size including responses to promotions.
  • Demographic information. Demographic categories can be modified to suit each retailer's needs.
  • Mailing lists. Customers may belong to one or more mailing lists.

Powerful promotions can be created against selected customers, offering special prices on one or more items or groups of items. Customers can be selected for a promotion using a wide variety of criteria e.g. birthdays, clothing sizes and purchase history. Promotions are stored in detail and the results can be compared from year to year or promotion to promotion. All of the ground work for a promotion is saved and can be reused, thus reducing costs considerably.

Mail out labels and mail merge files can be created based on a promotion or an ad-hoc customer query and used for promotional mail outs.
